This is a long shot but it’s worth a try. My name is Branko Korica. I’ve been looking on behalf of
my mother, Snezana Korica, for her good friend, Maja Vajnstangl-Damjanovic, for over a year now.
Her sons are Bojan and Neven Damjanovic. They moved to Israel quite some time ago and my mother,
who knows computers like a fish knows how to drive, asked me to look for her on the net. Any
information on how to contact them would be much appreciated.

You can reach me at whydoesmyheadhurt@hotmail.com

Hello
I am editing a book of literature by Jewish writers who left their country of origin.
I should be grateful if you would send me short stories and poetry in English. This
is for a book to be published by Five Leaves. We hope it will be included in Jewish Book Week in London.
Thank you.
Best wishes

Message from Brazil:
Dear Jennie,
My name is Patricia Lebl. My husband, Alexander Lebl was born In Yugoslavia(Sid)in May 1936
and Kornel Lebl, his father was in the same prisoner-of-war camp as your father. They met and
knew they both had a son called Alexander.Years ago,Sasa wrote to your brother to find out if
they were related and your brother kindly replied after being in touch with you, that they were
not. My daughter,Surri, while in Israel at a medical convention about 10 years ago spoke to you
on the phone.I was at Eilon Kibbutz several years ago and heard a lot about you.Last year,my
son Mirko visted Eilon and brought back a book on the Yugoslav Jewish officers who were
prisoners of war in Germany compiled by you so it seems there are a lot of coincidences.
Sadly,my husband who emigrated to Uruguay after the war, died 6 years ago but I am always
in touch with Amira Gezow of Eilon who looked after Sasa when he went to Israel from Yugoslavia.
I am returning to Israel in May for a short visit to the kibbutz. We have lived in Brazil for
the last 35 years..I have 6 children..Surri and 5 sons...and 13 grandchildren...6 boys with
the name Lebl.We don't know of any other family members apart from my brother-in-law, Mirko
Lebl who lives in Bolivia.Anyway, for many years I have wanted to write to you...unfortunately
I don't speak Yugoslav,so I can't read the many articles you have written.
        With all good wishes,
        Patricia Lebl
